CS News Article

There's a short article about my collarbone injury on the Canoe Slalom News website, follow the link below. There's loads of other interesting stuff about canoe slalom on the website so go check it out.

The weather has turned a bit chilly down here in Aus so I'm slightly regretting my frugal packing strategy. Due to the poor exchange rate and the expectation of hot weather I decided to bring minimal clothes and canoeing gear and replaced the weight in my bag with SIS energy bars and recovery powder to avoid having to buy them down here. I was forced to contemplate the wisdom of this move whilst shivering into my soaking wet shortie cag at 06:45 this morning . To be fair once we had warmed up I wasn't cold during the session because the river water is pretty warm still. Now it looks like the sun might break through the cloud so fingers crossed all will be bright and sunny again soon. Either way no complaints it's still perfectly pleasant for canoeing, just a bit of a contrast from the temperature a few days ago.

Cheers Tim
